Sabato 12 giugno alle 17.30, presso la Biblioteca di Via Roma ad Albenga, si terrà la presentazione of the book "Vincenzo Nosenzo - magician and King of Tin" by Silvia Bottaro (Publisher Omega).
The meeting, led by writer Maria Scarfì Cirone, was developed in collaboration between the municipality of Albenga, the Circle of the Friends in Art "and the Association of Garland" R. Aiolfi "- Women's Chamber of Savona.

Born in Savona in 1887 and died in Loanhead in 1977, had an international reputation for having printed in his factory called "Lito-Tin" in Zinola (Savona) the two famous e sempre più rari “libri di latta”, precisamente quello di Filippo Tommaso Marinetti “Parole in libertà futuriste – tattili – termiche – olfattive” (1932) e quello di Tullio d’Albisola “L’Anguria lirica” (1934), con le illustrazioni di Bruno Munari.
Il libro di Bottaro, dedicato a Mario Verdone , è il frutto di tre lustri di ricerche in Italia e all’estero per scoprire chi fosse davvero Nosenzo e quale impulso seguì nell’usare la latta come materia editoriale ed artistica.
Tale innovazione ha trovato pronto Vincenzo Nosenzo che senza badare a spese seguì le idee innovative di Tullio of Albisola (Tullio Mazzotti) of Farfa (link between Turin Futurist group founded by Fillia Mino Rosso, Pippo Oriani, Nicolaj Diulgheroff and Savona), Acquaviva, Prampolini, not counting direct contact with Filippo Tommaso Marinetti , founder of Futurism, which have so often seen the factory located in the district to the west of Savona, called Zinola.
